who do these magical discounted offers extend to? these offers extend to active & retired members of all military branches, including guardsmen, coast guard, u.s. public health services, and NOAA, as well as their families, and 100% disabled veterans. valid and active military ids are required for retired servicemen and their family members to receive these magical disney military discounted offers. unmarried surviving spouses of service members who died while on active duty or while in retirement status also qualify (surviving spouse must still have a valid military id).

what are military salute tickets?: this is a special ticket pricing that Disney offers each year to military families. this is not to be confused with disney’s regular discounted magic your way military tickets.
- limited amount: a service member or their spouse can purchase a limited number of only 6 military salute tickets. this means that either the service member or their spouse can purchase the 6 salute tickets, not both.
- salute tickets offers: choose between a 4-Day, 5-Day or 6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket with the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus option (formerly the Disney Military Promotional Ticket) for visits in 2025.
- 4-day disney military salute ticket: purchase now through december 16, 2025.
  - with the park hopper option: $395
  - with the park hopper plus Option: $425
- 5-day disney military salute ticket: purchase now through december 15, 2025.

- a valid ticket and Park Reservation for admission to the same park on the same date you plan to visit is required each day for the first park of the day. Reservations are limited and subject to availability. once you enter your reserved park, you are free to park hop to all other parks throughout the day. example: if you reserved magic kingdom—enter magic kingdom and after 9 am you can park hop to any other park.

what are disney’s military discounted tickets?: disney’s regular discounted military tickets are magic your way tickets, not to be confused with disney’s military salute tickets.
use for extended stays: if your family plans to stay at disney for more than 6 days, magic your way tickets allows you to purchase additional days beyond what the Salute tickets offer. these tickets have a greater flexibility to meet your extended vacation needs. magic your way tickets offer options from 1-day tickets to 10-day tickets. purchase of the magic your way tickets allows you to purchase an unlimited amount of tickets so that you can bring immediate and extended family along on the trip.
types of tickets: magic your way tickets offer a number of different types of ticket purchases.
- base ticket: a base ticket allows you to visit one park per day of your visit.
- park hopper: a park hopper option allows you to visit more than one theme park on the same day.
- water park & sports option: this option allows you to visit any of the 2 Disney water parks & sports like wide world of sports complex, golfing and miniature golf with your magic your way base ticket purchase.
- park hopper plus option: allows you to visit more than one theme park on the same day. plus, you get a certain number of visits to a water park, golf course or miniature golf, based on the length of your ticket.
cost savings: although, the magic your way tickets do not offer a significant 50% off ticket prices like the salute offer, it still is a money savings deal. example: if you purchase a 7 day magic your way base ticket directly from Disney, it will cost you $808.60 (ticket pricing varies with time of year you visit), this includes tax and additional fees. a 7 day magic your way base ticket purchased through shades of green or a military base will cost you $529–no tax charge. that’s a savings of $279.60.

how to purchase and use your military tickets

ticket purchases: there are a few options for purchasing disney’s military salute or magic your way tickets.
- - at disney: military salute or magic your way tickets can be purchased at a disney guest relations window at any of the 4 parks or at the disney ticket center at disney springs. the service member or spouse with a valid id must be present for purchase & activation.
  - military base: you can purchase disney military salute or magic your way tickets at your local military base itt/mwr office. the service member or spouse with a valid id must be present for purchase. MWR offices will allow you to purchase tickets over the phone or online. some sites will even ship tickets directly to you (check with your local base for details). these tickets do not come pre-activated, so the service member or their spouse with a valid id will have to activate the tickets once you arrive at disney. tickets can be activated at a disney guest relations window at any of the 4 parks.
  - shades of green: shades of green is military resort on the grounds of the magic kingdom resort area. military salute or magic your way tickets can be purchases in-person or online from shades of green. the service member or spouse must have a valid id to purchase tickets in-person or online.
    - how to purchase online: click on the link for ticket ordering–click to download the PDF form–fill in park ticket type–ticket price (found on SOG website)–# of tickets–ticket total–taxes are excluded but there is a $15 processing fee. you must fill in your first & last name and confirm that you are eligible for purchase–sign & add submission date. once you have completed the form, download and save it to your computer.
    - form submission: to submit your request–click on the webform submission–choose your form category–tickets & attractions–fill in your email address–ticket request type (choose advance ticket purchase if you are ready to purchase your tickets)–fill in subject line with ticket purchase–phone #–arrival date–sponor full name (service member or spouse’s name)–drop down menu of type of military id–address–drop down menu for theme park type (SOG sells other discounted tickets besides disney tickets)–click if you are staying at shades of green (skip if not)–fill in details (example: I am ordering 6-6 day military salute tickets)–a SOG support staff member will be in touch by email & phone to process your request (this may not be right away but within a day or two)–attach your pdf request form–& click the submit button to complete your submission.
    - who can pay for online ticket orders?: if you order tickets in advance, the payment method must be under the name of either the military sponsor or spouse. if civilian guests or family want to pay, they can transfer the money to the eligible service member or spouse before purchase.
    - completion of ticket purchase: a ticket agent will call to collect payment and email the tickets or ship them directly to you.
    - pre-activation: tickets purchased in advance through SOG come pre-activated. no activation is needed by the military sponsor for civilian guest to enter the parks.
    - click: SOG ticket prices.
    - ticket prices: there is no longer a set price for magic your way tickets. prices now vary depending on the date of your visit. according to the shades of green website,
      one and two-day tickets are approximately 10% cheaper than purchasing tickets directly from disney. three-day or longer tickets are approximately 20% cheaper. shades of green tickets are also tax-free which gives an extra layer of savings. to get an idea of your cost, see Theme Park Ticket | Walt Disney World Resort for disney pricing at the time of your visit and then deduct 10% for one or two-day tickets, or 20% for longer ticket stays.
    - no park reservation needed: these new dated magic your way theme park tickets do not require park reservations.
- linking your tickets: purchased military salute & magic your way tickets can be linked to your my disney experience account or app by tapping on tickets and passes–click link tickets–enter your ticket confirmation number–assign your tickets to each person in your party. purchase tickets for other family member not linked to your my disney experience account? not a problem, they can link purchased military tickets to their account once the tickets have been activated by the military sponsor.

shades of green resort: shades of green is a deluxe resort owned by the department of defense (DOD). it is a place that military members, veterans, & their families can enjoy all the magic of disney, but at a fraction of the cost & tax free. it is a large gated resort filled with beautiful grounds, two pools, a golf course, a number of dining options, and spacious rooms (large than disney resort rooms).
- SOG reservations: it is wise to book at least a year or 6 months in advance because resort reservations book up fast. SOG reservations can be linked to your my disney experience account. go to–reserevation link–enter the confirmation # and last name on the reservation–link–reservation will appear on your account or app.
- SOG theme park offers: SOG offers all the amenities of a disney deluxe resort including early park entry and deluxe extended evening hours that are available on select nights at select theme parks.
- military sponsor: a military sponsor can reserve up to three rooms for additional guest. the military sponsor must be staying at SOG & present for check-in.
- pricing: resort stay pricing is determined by military ranking.
- transportaton: SOG offers bus services to and from the parks. you must “show” your resort id or military id before boarding the bus. link: bus schedule & details.
- military sponsor responsibility: a military sponsor is responsible for purchasing tickets and booking rooms. once civilian guest have been checked-in to the resort and receive their resort id, they are free to come and go without the sponsor present by using the assigned resort id.
- ticket office: the ticket office operating hours are 8 AM to 6 PM daily. purchase other theme park tickets and orlando area attractions at shades of green. SOG even offers discounted disney after hours tickets & annual passes for florida residents.
- SOG additional offers: shades of green offers many other savings discounts & deals to military families. purchase souvenirs in their gift shop tax free.
