  • Spooky-fun decorations that light up the entire park

If you’re planning to go this year, I’d love to hear what you’re most excited about. It really is one of the most magical events of the season, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Character Meet-and-Greets at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – My Favorite Part of the Night!

One of the absolute highlights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for me is the character meet-and-greets and this year, the lineup is better than ever! There’s just something magical about seeing your favorite Disney characters all dressed up in their Halloween best.

Mickey and Minnie are now meeting guests together at Town Square Theater, decked out in their adorable Halloween costumes. It’s such a fun photo op, and definitely one of the first things you should head to when you arrive early!

Over at Storybook Circus, Pluto greets guests right at the entrance, while Daisy and Goofy are holding court inside Pete’s Silly Sideshow and let me tell you, their costumes this year are absolutely picture-perfect.

And keeping the party energy alive all night long? DJ Ringmaster! He’s spinning spooky tunes, adding lights and special effects that really bring the whole circus area to life. It’s such a fun spot to hang out, especially if you’re traveling with kids or just want a little dance break between candy stops.

All throughout Magic Kingdom, you’ll find meet-and-greets scattered across every land. From fan-favorite characters to rare villains you don’t often see like Maleficent and the Queen of Hearts. The Halloween party gives you a chance to create truly unique memories and snap some seriously fun photos.

And of course, no Halloween party night is complete without Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade which is a total must-see! It runs twice each night, and features over 50 Disney characters, all bringing the Halloween spirit to life with floats, music, and spooky flair. Watching the Headless Horseman lead the parade down Main Street!

Picking Up Your Wristbands & Treat Bags – What to Know Before the Party Starts

If you’re heading to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, one of the first things you’ll want to do after arriving is grab your event wristband and treat bag along with your golden ticket to all the spooky fun ahead!

Disney makes this process super easy. Cast Members set up wristband pickup kiosks in a few key locations around Magic Kingdom, so you don’t have to go out of your way. You’ll typically find them right near the park entrance, as well as at spots like Tortuga Tavern, Fantasy Faire, and the Tomorrowland entrance by Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.

Pixie Dust Tip: If you’re already inside the park during the day and staying for the party, just head to one of the in-park wristband stations instead of exiting and re-entering. That little tip has saves so much time.

The treat bags are provided by Disney and are usually themed for the season. They’re cute, but if you plan on collecting serious candy, I recommend bringing a slightly larger bag or reusable tote from home, especially if you’re going with kids or love the thrill of the trick-or-treat trails.

This is just one of those small but important details that helps your night go smoothly and sets you up for a full evening of magic, memories, and mountains of candy!

Costume Guidelines for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – What You Really Need to Know

One of my absolute favorite parts of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is that for one magical night, you can actually dress up at Disney as an adult! And planning your costume is half the fun. But before you go all out with sequins, lights, or a full-length cape, there are some important guidelines to keep in mind.

While Disney normally doesn’t allow adults to wear costumes in the parks, this special ticketed event is the perfect exception. That said, they still have a few rules in place to keep things fun, family-friendly, and safe for everyone.

For Guests ages 13 and under (Halloween Party):
  • Kids are absolutely encouraged to dress up—and it’s adorable! Costumes and some masks are allowed, but here’s the catch:
  • Masks must allow for clear side vision at all times.
  • Eyes must be fully visible—no full face coverings.
For Guests 14 Years of Age or Older (Halloween Party):

This is where it gets a little more specific (but still totally doable!):

  • You can dress as your favorite character—just don’t pose for photos or sign autographs like you’re “official.”
  • Costumes must be family-friendly—nothing violent, offensive, or overly scary.
  • No weapons or weapon-like props, even if they’re toys.
  • Skip sharp or pointed accessories (for obvious safety reasons).
  • Avoid costumes that cover your whole body or create large silhouettes—these can trigger additional security checks.
  • Costumes cannot drag on the ground, so full-length princess gowns are a no-go.
  • Capes are okay, as long as they don’t go past your waist.
  • Face masks aren’t allowed for adults—face paint and costume headwear are okay, as long as your face stays visible.

✔️ What’s totally fine (and fun):

  • Themed T-shirts, hoodies, blouses, and hats
  • Plastic lightsabers, toy swords, tutus, and wings
  • Creative accessories that don’t block your face or make it hard to move around

Cast Members do reserve the right to deny entry or request costume changes if something doesn’t follow the guidelines, so it’s always best to play it safe while still having fun.

Trust me, you can still create an amazing costume that fits the theme and makes for great photos. With just a bit of creative thinking and maybe a backup accessory in your park bag, it can be done.

If you’re anything like me, you want to look festive without spending a fortune, especially when you’re planning for a night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The good news? You don’t have to break the bank to dress up in style.

After a LOT of browsing (and a few too many “add to cart” moments), I’ve rounded up some of the best budget-friendly costume ideas and accessories on Amazon. From fun family looks to spook-tacular t-shirts and BOO-tiful accessories, there’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re going all out or keeping it simple and comfy.

If you’re getting ready for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and want something cute, comfy, and budget-friendly, I’ve got you covered! One of my favorite ways to save on costumes is by finding fun, themed outfits on Amazon and there are so many clever options that don’t require a full costume change or a hefty price tag.

One of my top picks? The Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head matching T-shirts. They’re fun, instantly recognizable, and super easy to throw on with shorts or leggings. It’s perfect for Florida nights when it’s still warm and humid!

Want to go classic? Try pairing a simple red or black tee with some affordable Mickey or Minnie ears, a polka dot skirt, or even just themed accessories like gloves or socks. It’s one of the easiest (and cutest!) looks to pull off, and you probably already have half of it in your closet.

And if you’re a Ratatouille fan like I am, don’t miss the adorable chef-and-Remy duo costume set! It’s such a fun, low-effort idea that still gets tons of compliments and works great for couples or parent-and-child pairings.

I’ve found that the key to Disney party costumes is keeping it simple and breathable, especially if you’re planning to dance, snack, and hop on rides all night!

Disguise Women’s Hasbro Game Mr. Mrs. Potato Head Costume Kit $24.99 on Amazon, Humairc Mouse Costume for $18.99 @ Amazon, Ramede 6 Pcs Couple Mouse Costume Accessories for Adult $21.99 @ Amazon.

When it comes to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, sometimes the accessories make the outfit and Amazon is one of my go-to spots for finding adorable, affordable Disney-themed gear that doesn’t cost a fortune.

One of the easiest ways to pull together a festive look? Mickey or Minnie ears with a spooky twist! From glow-in-the-dark bats to pumpkin-themed bows, and even villain-inspired styles, there are endless fun options to choose from. Better yet, most of them are far more budget-friendly than what you’ll typically find in the parks.

Personally, I think keeping the outfit simple is the way to go. For example, start with a Halloween-themed tee and shorts; then, dress it up with standout accessories like themed ears, a fun crossbody bag, or even a sparkly tutu for extra flair. Not only is it comfy and cute, but it’s also totally party-ready. And it comes all without the big costume commitment.

Whether you’re aiming for subtle Disney style or going all out with a head-to-toe theme, Amazon makes it easy to mix, match, and stay within budget.

Get the perfect pirate look without spending a treasure chest of gold! Start small with a sparkly Mickey Pirate Ears for just $8.99, or go bigger with a 6-piece pirate costume set for only $12.99. Planning to match as a group? Grab the Chanaco 8-piece pirate headband set for $8.99 and everyone can join the crew!

Why not show off your favorite villain with sparkly Maleficent sequin mouse ears for just $9.69? Or, if you like options, grab a variety pack of four Mickey Halloween ears for $18.99. And of course, you can’t forget the spooky Haunted Mansion ears—only $13.99—for a ghostly touch to your look! Just want a classic Halloween look?

Keep it simple with black pumpkin mouse ears for only $7.99, or add a playful twist with a Minnie ears headband in a Halloween spider design for $9.99.

If you’re planning your look for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (or just want to rock a festive Disney vibe all spooky season long), don’t sleep on the Halloween-themed Disney tees on Amazon! They’re cute, comfy, and best of all, they are only a fraction of the price compared to what you’d pay in the parks or on shopDisney.

I’ve personally found some of my favorite Halloween shirts this way and think Mickey pumpkins, haunted castles, villain silhouettes, and playful sayings that are totally Insta-worthy. And because they’re so budget-friendly, it’s easy to grab one for everyone in the family without blowing your treat budget.

✨ Dust Tip: Pair one of these shirts with simple accessories like themed ears, glow bracelets, or a fun crossbody bag—and boom: instant party outfit! You’ll stay cool, comfortable, and photo-ready all night long.

For example, you can grab the Women’s Bows Ghost Shirt for $18.69, or choose the Halloween Minnie Spider Web Tee for $19.55. In addition, the Women’s Halloween Hawaiian Shirt with a cute pumpkin and spooky castle design is available for $25.99.

You’ll also find the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Shirt for only $9.99. Plus, there are Custom Halloween 2025 Family Trip Shirts for $13.99, as well as the Disney Cinderella A Dream Is A Wish Halloween Pumpkin Coach T-Shirt for just $19.54.

When it comes to putting together the perfect look for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I always say, don’t forget the bag! And if you’re looking to keep things cute and affordable, Amazon has some awesome Disney-themed options that won’t break the bank.

Whether you’re into trendy fanny packs, playful mini backpacks, or even budget-friendly Loungefly-inspired bags, there’s something for every style and every costume. I’ve found some adorable Halloween-themed designs featuring Mickey pumpkins, villains, ghosts, and more, all at a fraction of the price you’d pay in the parks.

What I love most is how easy it is to match these bags with a simple tee or costume piece, so just grab a festive crossbody or bat-winged mini backpack, and you’ve instantly upgraded your outfit and your trick-or-treat storage!

PIxie Dust Tip: Choose a bag that’s lightweight and hands-free (fanny packs are seriously underrated at Disney!) so you can focus on collecting candy, snapping pics, and dancing along during the Boo-to-You Parade without juggling extra stuff.

Halloween Fanny Pack Waist Bag for $15.99, Womens Disney Jack Skellington Belt Bag for #21.99, or Halloween Crossbody Bag Ghost Purse for $16.99.

If you’re anything like me, you know that a good park bag is essential, especially when you’re heading to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and need space for snacks, candy, and maybe a few surprise souvenirs.

That’s why I always keep an eye out for Disney Loungefly bags on Amazon because they often feature the same eye-catching designs (think Mickey pumpkins, villains, and haunted castles) for way less than what you’d pay in the parks.

Whether you’re looking for something spooky-cute or just need extra room for all those Halloween goodies, Amazon has a solid selection of budget-friendly Loungefly bags that are both stylish and practical. And yes, they’re perfectly sized to carry your party essentials without weighing you down.

Pixie Dust Tip: Many of these bags come in seasonal or limited-time prints, so you can find something totally unique to complete your look. And this is without blowing your budget.

For instance, you can grab the Loungefly Disney Glow Face Minnie Pumpkin Mini Backpack for $54.95. Or, if you’d like something smaller, the Disney Mickey and Minnie Mouse Candy Corn Vegan Leather Crossbody Bag is just $47.99. And for a festive glow, the Loungefly Disney Candy Corn Minnie Cosplay Mini Backpack that glows in the dark is available for $59.99.
