My Mom’s Insider Tips for 2026 Deals
Book early — then re-check for newer deals. Disney sometimes releases discounts after you book. If your stay qualifies, you can modify to get the lower rate.
Consider a package (room + tickets). The biggest discounts ($250, $150, $75) apply to packages that are paired with tickets + resort stay saves more.
Flexible dates = huge savings. Try to hit Sunday to Thursday nights, or travel in January, February, late August, September, or late April.
Pick Value for short stays with kids — Value Resorts at $75 off still give you Disney transportation, theming, and comfort without a big splurge.
Moderate Resort stays often are the best stays for our family— more room than Value, better atmosphere, and significant discounts (especially $150/night deals).
Deluxe Resorts: splurge smartly. These are perfect for a “treat night” or when the kids deserve a little luxury — and if you’re willing to resort hop and split your stay, booking just one night at a Deluxe can give you those amazing perks without paying Deluxe prices for the whole trip. It’s one of my favorite mom hacks for adding a little extra magic without blowing the budget.
Check room-only deals if you’re local or buying tickets separately. If you don’t need a ticket package, the 25% room discount (Feb–Apr 2026) can still save big.
With 2026’s deals, you don’t have to choose between savings and magic. You can have both, but the key is booking smart, staying flexible, and knowing when the magical discounts drop.
